New website!
Over the summer the library staff are working hard to completely redesign the library website. The new website will be launched in September.
For the rest of the summer, we shall not be updating the current site apart from adding news messages like this. We are also aware there are some display issues such as non display of images following some changes made by OUDCE to the main Department website.
Watch this space for more information on the new site!

Disruption to Library access week beginning 9th June
The
corridor outside the Library is being re-painted during the week beginning 9th
June
For part of the week, all access to the Library will be through the Reading Room door. This will mean:
We apologise for the inconvenience caused by this work which is part of the OUDCE refurbishment programme.
Access to the Library and Reading Room will be
available for the same hours as normal, but there is likely to be more noise in
the area of the Library than usual.
For part of the week, all access to the Library will be through the Reading Room door. This will mean:
- Disruption in the Reading Room as there will be more through traffic
- Access to the library desk will involve the use of stairs. If you are planning to visit the Library during this week and this will be a problem for you, please contact the Library so that we can discuss how best we can help you.

Access to Oxford University Press Publications
Bodleian Libraries have signed a new agreement with OUP to increase access to online material published by OUP and partner presses. An additional 20,000 e-books are now available, also extra databases. One significant gain for Continuing Education students is the addition of Archaelogy titles in the Oxford Handbooks series.
