Change to wireless services

OULS-reader wireless access is now available in the Reading Room in addition to OWL and Eduroam. OULS-Reader is the system used in other Bodleian Libraries.

To access OULS-Reader, you need the barcode number on your University card or Rewley House Continuing Education Library card, and the associated password. This is the same password that is used to access your record on OLIS, renew books, place stack requests and log in to PCs in the Library. If you are unsure of your password, please ask at the Library desk.

OULS-Reader does not require the use of any other passwords or software and is therefore available to anyone with a current University card or membership of the Rewley House Continuing Education Library, this includes students on weekly classes and summer school students. The Bodleian Libraries website has more information about OULS-Reader.

Please note:
  • OULS-Reader is only available in the vicinity of the Reading Room. OWL and Eduroam are available in other areas of rewley House, and also at Ewert House
  • If you currently use OWL or Eduroam, you can continue to do so, although you may find OULS-Reader more straightforward.
