Book sale

There will be a book sale in the Library starting on Monday 24th January. Items are either withdrawn library stock or donations not required for the Library.

Standard price for ex-library/second hand books is £1 hardback and 50p paperback. There will also be some 'as new' items individually priced. Proceeds will go towards buying new books for the Library.

This will be an ongoing sale over the next few weeks with new items added regularly.

Inter-Library Loan price increase

The cost of Document Supply (ILL) in all the Bodleian Libraries has increased. Charges were last revised 2 years ago so the increase is necessary to cover the costs of the annual British Library price rise and also the 2.5% increase in VAT which came into effect in January.

The cost of a standard loan, photocopy or electronic document request has risen from £4 to £4.50. This cost is heavily subsidised by the Bodleian Libraries.

A full list of services and prices can be found on the Bodleian Libraries website.
