The collection has been developed over mamy years, so we have more videos than DVDs. Some films are recorded from TV under the Educational Recording Agency (ERA) licensing scheme and therefore may be of inferior quality.
Four lists are available:
- Films by Title
- Films by Director
- Subset of Title list showing DVDs only
- Subset of Director list showing DVDs only
The first two lists indicate whether each recording is video or DVD, and ERA or commercial.
Films may be borrowed by staff and students of the Department for Continuing Education, and by other students studying film courses or options.
The website also has a list of documentary videos and DVDs, and drama productions and serialisations (mainly BBC)
